Photography & Makeup Policy
A gentle guide to how we work together so your experience in the studio feels seamless, calm, and beautifully curated.
Please read this photography agreement and model release before booking. By making a booking and paying your deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
Booking & Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of 20% is required to secure both your makeup and photoshoot date and time.
Your booking is only confirmed once the deposit has been received and a payment screenshot has been shared with the studio.
Payment
The remaining balance is due immediately after your session.
No images (edited or unedited) will be released until full payment has been made and confirmed.
Late Arrival
Clients are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled session.
There is a 20-minute grace period. Arriving more than 30 minutes late may result in loss of your deposit and cancellation of your session without refund, at the studio’s discretion.
Rescheduling & Cancellations
You may reschedule your session at least 48 hours in advance without penalty.
Rescheduling or cancelling with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the loss of your deposit. A new booking will require a new deposit.
Promotional Use of Images
By booking a session, you grant Ace of Har Studio permission to use your photos and/or videos for promotional and marketing purposes, including social media, website, online portfolio, print materials, and other marketing platforms.
Images posted are selected by the studio and clients are not named or tagged unless they request it.
As appreciation for this permission, a discount is already built into the package price.

You may either:
- Choose the photos you want edited, or
- Give the photographer permission to select the images for you.
If you allow the photographer to choose, you waive the right to dispute the selection afterwards.
Photobooks & Artwork Frames
Photobooks, prints, and framed artwork are not included in the standard photo session fee.
These products are ordered separately through third-party suppliers and are not produced in-house. The studio does not control the production time or delivery, but will keep you updated on the status of your order.
Private Sessions (No Online Use)
If you require a full-price private session where images are not branded, not watermarked, and not posted on the website or social media, you must discuss this directly with the studio before booking.
Private sessions may have different pricing and terms from regular discounted packages. By completing a standard booking without such prior agreement, you confirm that you accept promotional use of your images as described above.
Delivery & Additional Edits
Edited images are typically delivered within 5 business days from your session date, unless otherwise stated.
Files are delivered digitally; physical products fall under section 7 above.
Requests for:
- Additional edits beyond the agreed number
- Rush delivery
- Extra or advanced retouching
may incur additional charges, which will be shared with you before work begins.
Client Responsibilities
Use of Phone
To ensure a smooth and efficient session, please minimize phone use (calls, chats, social media) during makeup application and your photoshoot.
Face Preparation
Your face must be clean and makeup-free when you arrive for your appointment. An additional fee applies if the artist needs to remove existing makeup before starting.
Agreement
